Chapter 2
"YOU'RE ALWAYS TO LATE FOR GOD SAKE!"
"YOU HAVE TO SHUT YOUR FREAKING MOUTH!"
"WE DON'T NEED YOU IF YOU DON'T PUT EFFORT IN THE BAND!"
"FINE THEN I'M OUT OF HERE!"
Korra peeked around the door while hearing the word the two boys screamed to each other. She saw Mako and one of the band members and before she even knew what was going on the one fighting with Mako stormed past her and Mako stormed into another room. Not knowing what she had to do she walked into the room. The other members where whispering to each other and hadn't noticed her.
"someone needs to talk to him. Bolin it's your brother you go talk to him."
"O hell no
-One day, Korra, Mako and Bolin at the air temple island:-
Korra: Hey Bolin, we should go drinking tonight. I heard there was gonna be a dance party downtown!
Bolin: Dance party? Count me in!
Mako: Do I have to go?
Korra: Only if you want
Bolin: Yes, of course you do Mako.
Mako: Urg.
Naga: -licks Mako-
Bolin: See? Even Naga thinks so.
Naga: -wags tail-
Mako: -pets naga-
Mako: Okay girl...I am spoiling you too much
Naga: -whines-
Mako: So where's this party?
Korra: I think it is downtown.
Mako: Urg that smoggy place.
Korra: Apparently everyone our age is gonna be there, and there is this jazz band playing there tonight.
Bolin

"M-Miss Bei-Fong?"
I tried not to snap at Tenzin's daughter, "Yes, Jinora?"
"I think I smell a fire " she mumbled.
I quickly looked at our surroundings and saw smoke billowing upward from about 100 meters away. "You're right. I think we're far enough away to avoid it, just as long as we keep moving. Let's go." I started in the opposite direction of the fire when Jinora tugged at my arm. "What is it?"
She grinned. "Have you ever flown?"
Tahno
I smelled blood, and a lot of it. That, and an overwhelming amount of smoke.
"Somebody must've pissed off a firebender," I muttered. Turns out, I was right. Before I could duck out of the

"Attention all viewers and benders occupying the arena," a man's deep voice boomed over the speakers, causing me to jolt up from my sleep (okay, it was really more like sitting there half awake as comfortable as a fire bender can be up in a tree), nearly falling from the stern branch. "The death count has been taken into records, showing there are exactly 13 of the 24 left."
"13?" Bolin whispered in shock, "That means 11 people killed in one day..." I looked over at my brother, big as he may be, had a look of sadness and guilt on his face that I never thought possible. Did he believe some of the deaths were his own fault?
The man spea

They led me down a dark corridor, faintly lit by fiery torches. I considered trying to firebend them, but decided that they wouldn't just hurt me if I did. Besides, I was going into a fight to the death. I needed to be at the top of my game if I was going to protect not only myself, but my brother as well.
Eventually we came to a metal door leading into a small dark room.
"Stay here, and don't try anything. You'll know when to move," a chi-blocker instructed and slammed the door.
I leaned against the smooth, gray wall and sighed. Think, Mako, think! There's gotta be a way to get out of this. I really hoped Korra didn't try anything.

A few White Lotus members, metal benders from the police force, normal people who were only trying to get by, soldiers from the United Forces I had to meet up with them and more. I lost track of how many people I'd gone to give their 'inspirational Avatar speech', but it made me realize just how many lives were at stake.
My heart was heavy with the thought of how many people I'd have to watch die, while I just sat in a cell by myself. Well not by myself considering Tenzin would be there, but I'm sure they were only having him in there to add to the 'tragedy' of watching your loved ones murder each other.
I'm sure they'll enjoy the sig

"Are you prepared to be equalized, Avatar Korra?"
"What are you talking about?" I demanded.
Addressing the crowd, Amon started his speech: "I have come up with a completely sure way to cleanse Republic City of its impurity." He turned to face all the benders on the stage. "Many of you here are former pro-benders. And even if you are not, you were still praised for your ability. Praised for your tyranny over non-benders. You were proud of what you could do and used it to your advantage every day. Your punishment for doing so still allows you to use bending to your advantage, but not in a way you'll like.
"All of you will be put into a close
